Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas
January 27 - February 3, 2013
"Hi yall, join me and my family for our most exciting party at sea ever.
The ship is stupendous and the ports are absolute stunners. They're new to me — colorful places with beautiful beaches, wonderful water sports, and historic interest. Of course, we have lots of onboard activities planned and great things to do in port as well. I just can't wait. I love getting away in the dead of winter.
Hope you'll be with us." Paula
Were roundtripping out of Galveston. Its wonderfully convenient and a good place to start and end. The itinerary is so exciting, there's something for everyone ... eco jungle, snorkeling, diving, fishing, stunning beaches, ancient ruins and great shopping.
Royal Caribbeans Mariner of the Seas has it all — fine dining, state-of-the art recreational facilities, spacious public areas and exceptional service.
Mostly, were going to party — check out the highlights and come back often as more details will be added once weve completed all our arrangements. Call Alice Travel to get onboard. This is the only way to join in the fun.
Paula Deen and Family Party at Sea
Western Caribbean - Jan. 27-Feb. 3, 2013 (7 Nights)
Jan. 27 - depart Galveston, TX. Galveston Island is Texas top historic destination. Guests on cruises from Galveston can enjoy 32 miles of relaxing beaches, great seafood, tropical scenery, superb restaurants, marvelous downtown shopping, breathtaking Victorian architecture, numerous antique stores, incredible art galleries, plus tons of attractions, entertainment venues and world-class sportfishing. Watch for details of our pre- and post-cruise festivities.
Jan. 28 and Jan 29 - at sea
Jan. 30 - Roatan, Honduras. This truly unspoiled island is surrounded by the worlds second-largest coral reef, which houses hundreds of varieties of sea life. So it's easy to see why Roatans waters are considered some of the best in the world for snorkeling and scuba diving. On land, the friendly, laid-back atmosphere is exactly how youd envision it to be on an island paradise - its perfect. There are fine restaurants, bars and attractions, such as Butterfly Park, Marble Hill Farms, the Iguana Farm and Carambola Gardens. But best of all, make sure to spend time exploring some of the most pure and untouched beaches in the Caribbean.
Jan. 31 - Belize City, Belize. With miles of lush tropical rain forest, a gorgeous Caribbean coastline and the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere, it doesnt take long to realize why Belize City is known as “The Jewel.” Located between Mexico and Guatemala, Belize possesses a unique combination of modernity and rustic Caribbean charm. Ancient ruins indicate that Belize was first inhabited by the Mayans in 300 B.C. This Indian heritage, combined with a rich European history, creates a destination full of charm and wonder for all to discover.
Feb. 1 - Cozumel, Mexico. The Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel while having a great time in its many local bars and restaurants. Plus, the waters around Cozumels sheltered coral reefs make this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world.
Feb. 2 - at sea
Feb. 3 - disembark Galveston, TX.
